Rockhopper’s Arr-ival Parr-ty, Sports Catalog, and New Pin

Update: When you click on the room name, you can see what the room looks like.

The new party came out today. It is a really nice party that you all should check out. The only problem is that not a lot of the rooms are decorated, and the ones that are decorated, aren’t that decorated that much. My favorite room is the Dock, I think you’ll agree when you see what I mean. Since this is my first party post, I will tell you how I will do this. I will do this kind of like the way I do the newspaper and catalogs. I will say the room, and then say how it is decorated, and what important is in it.

• Balloons tied around the ship
• Ribbon around the ship

• A big wood Rockhopper and Yarr against the Lighthouse
• A Welcome Back sign over the Migrator
• A bucket of Cream Soda
• An anchor
• A treasure chest
• A dotted line going across from the Ski Village to the Dock
I wouldn’t be surprised if he has the key the same way, with the dotted lines and X

Ski Villiage
• The new Pin (move cursor over the X) More details on bottom of this post
• The ski Lodge is now a Pirate Ship
• A dotted line going from the far mountains to the X (the new pin) and the Beach

• A mural of all that happened to Rockhopper’s ship, from it getting hit by an iceberg, G making a idea of the Aqua Grabber, to us penguins playing Aqua Grabber to get the pieces of his ship, and cleaning his ship
• A wooden fence with a sign “Har” brrr! on it
• A treasure chest
• An anchor
• A dotted line from the Beach to the Town

• The Coffee Shop is now Ye Olde Coffee Shop
• The Night Club is now pirate theme
• An open treasure chest with gold and rubies in it
• A dotted line from the Dock to the Snow Forts

Ye Olde Coffee Shop
• At the top left part of the shop, has buckets of Cream Soda, and one bag of Java beans
• A huge treasure chest
• An orange and pineapple on a bucket
• An Anchor
• On the chalkboard it says Avast Me Hearties, when you click it it changes to Coffee & Croissant and then click it one more time for Tea & Scones

Night Club
• A huge pirate flag behind the speakers
• Besides the flag are windows to a body of water
• Some kind of gold liquid is on both speakers, that has bubbles rise up
• Three buckets full of “items”
• A bucket full of Cream Soda

Snow Forts
• The snow forts are now Pirate Ships
• A dotted line form the Town to the Plaza

• The free item, a sailor’s hat (More details below)
• The big wooden puffle at the Pet Shop has a bandanna and red facial hair
• The Stage’s mask has a pirate hat on it
• The Pizza Parlor’s big wood Pizza has a pirate hat and eye patch on it
• A dotted line going up to the free item

The free item is an old one. It is a sailor’s hat, which came out the first time we had a pirates party. This is what one of the dotted lines lead up too.

The new Sports Catalog came out today and it is really sweet.

Snow and Sports – April 2008
1st/ 2nd Page
• Blue Baseball Uniform, Red Baseball Uniform, Red Ball Cap, Blue Ball Cap, and a Baseball Glove (with a ball in it)

Since Rockhopper’s return, Club Penguin added the Migrator to their home page. When you click on the area below the flag, Yarr will pop out and look through a telescope Here is what it looks like:

The Penguin Times Issue #132 and Rockhopper Hits Ground Early!

Today is a great day for all of you penguins. Let me start first with Rockhopper. Being scheduled to come ashore on Friday, I just thought that today would be all about the paper. However, Rockhopper made full speed ahead to mega full speed ahead and landed today. He only brought two items with him, but these were the best items he has ever brought. The one you buy is a rare flower pot. I know what your thinking, how is that good? Fortuneatly the second item (the free item) was a sweet Red and Black Sailor Shirt. He brought once a White and Black Sailor Shirt, but this is much cooler. Now, on this Rockhopper high, lets talk about the paper where the first article just gets better.

The Penguin Times

Rockhopper’s Grand Return
• This article is not an article. It is a letter by Rockhopper!
• Here is what he wrote:
Ahoy Landlubbers ! I be happy to see the mighty Migrator in one piece. I thought she were gone for good! Aye, she be a beaut an’ to thank all ye for your hard work I have something special in me mind! I know all ye be curious about me quarters. Tho’ it be me place for thinkin’ n’ countin’ me treasure, ye all have proved yourselves a trustworthy crew by fixin’ me ship. So come Monday, I be welcoming all ye fine fellows into me Captain’s Quarters. Arrr, but I be plannin’ a little fun first! Me quarter’s be locked, as ye know, and to open the door ye be needin’ me key. I’ll be hiding me key somewhere on this island on April 28! Ye can search for it then. Yo ho ho! Cap’n Rockhopper
This all means that come Monday, we are going to have a scavenger hunt. I have always been wanting to go into the Quarter’s since I first saw it in February 2007. Now I can finally go in, and the best part it’s a scavenger hunt. Ye be goin’ to have a jolly good ol’ time.
Rockhopper Recaps Journey
“Argh, for days we were adrift on the wide, wide sea.”
“I got back t’ Rockhopper Island an’ figured if I were to rebuild me Migrator, supplies be needed. All I found was a motor. So I fixed it to me rowboat to get back quicker.”
“Yarr saw the flares and we figured you was tryin’ t’ tell me somethin’. I was overjoyed t’ see the Migrator was in ship shape, yar!”
Public Service Announcement
• For the first time ever in Club Penguin history, PSA has issued a public statement
• Rookie, from Mission 2 and 7 issued the statement
• They had good news and bad news, the Clock Tower is fixed, but the bad news is we think it was broken on purpose
• This is what they said:
For months the PSA has been investigating a series of unexplained events, including the avalanche that closed the Ski Hill in July of 2007. Along with the broken Clock Tower, evidence suggests these events were not accidents. “The Director of the PSA has released this statement: Citizens should not be alarmed. The clock is fixed, and our top agents are in the field, investigating. The safety of Club Penguin is, as always, our top priority.”
Remember, this is for the non agents who don’t know what is going on

In Focus – Ski Village and Mountain
•The Mountain is only decorated for very special occasions. Sometimes you can ever see fireworks here too!
• Wear your Ski Patrol uniform to rescue penguins from the mountain. Just give a wave to show your sign
• Stop your tour group from getting lost by sending them a postcard. It’s an easy way to invite penguins to rooms you want them to visit, without them going missing on the way there
• Use your arrow keys to move left or right along the course. Look ahead to dodge boulders, use ramps to jump and check out where your fellow racers are. Ice patches will give your sled a boost. You’ll be winning in no time!
Baseball Bargains Can’t Be Beat
• The Sport Shop will be having a baseball theme opened tomorrow
The reason they are doing baseball is because the baseball season just started. Go Yankees! This is awesome because I wanted this for a while.
Rockhopper and Yarr’s Arr-ival Parr-ty!
• Preparing Penguins have Proclaimed a Pirate Party tomorrow
This is going to be one of the best parties ever.

New Room Sneak Peek, Secret Quarter’s Note, and Mission #7 Award

Billybob has gave us a sneak peek of the new room. At the start of April, he said that they would make a new room. It isn’t very often that we get a new room. This is going to be awesome. Here is the picture:

Billybob said that if we go on during the weekend (the time of the Rockhopper party) we will hear more about it. I think I know what it is. I think that it is Rockhopper’s Secret Quarters. Since there is no new thing coming out right now and it is already the 23rd, they would have to just give us a room. When the Stage came, it took them almost a month to build it, and right now they aren’t doing anything of making a room. Also, when Rockhopper comes and sees that we rebuilt his ship, he will be so touched that he will say that you guys can go see my Quarters. Plus, look at the picture. They show a railing and some of the stairs, which are made out of wood, the thing the Migrator is made out of. Also, it looks like the floor is just a piece of glass, so you can see the water. I am going to guess that they will release the new room a week from Friday.

In other news, there is a new note on Rockhopper’s Secret Quarters. It has a telescope on it and it says look through the telescope to see Rockhopper. Also, one of the gifts that you got from the mission does something more. When you click on the body of the fish or any other part on the grey circle, it will open up into a clock. The thing that they give you is a pocket watch. However, it gives you the time that you have, not PST.

The Penguin Times Issue #131, Town Clock, and Rockhopper

Penguin Times Issue #131

Migrator Mended
  • In January, Rockhopper’s ship crashed into an iceberg and sank.
  • In February, Gary the Gadget Guy built the submarine called Aqua Grabber to get pieces of the ship.
  • In both February and March, penguins worked around the clock to fix the Migrator
  • In April, penguins finished cleaning the Migrator, and Rockhopper’s return is near
  • The flares worked and Rockhopper is heading full speed ahead in a motorized rowboat (picture below), and when he lands on April 25, a party will begin, celebrating fixing the Migrator
Tower Clock Breaks Down
  • This is the first serious malfunction since the clock was constructed over a year ago
  • One penguin said that too many snowballs were thrown at it
  • The target is missing and everything, like somebody did it on purpose
  • A lot of clocks are also being broken as a result of them being connected to the Clock Tower
  • One penguin said about the Cuckoo Clock, it is funny but alarming
  • When you click on that screen next to the clock, it says out of order
  • There is a picture below
I think, pretty much know 99 percent of what happened. Herbert P. Bear Esq. broke to clock to get back at all of us penguins. He said in the letter that was in the paper last week that “time” was about to run out. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Also, I bet that this will be part of the mission.
New Igloos
•The new igloos come out tomorrow and Club Penguin gives you tips
  • No garden is complete without a Gnome
  • Vegetables are not only nutritious and delicious, but look fashionable
  • Nothing says Backyard Barbecue like having a backyard
I am personally very excited about tomorrow’s new igloo catalog. I know that the sneak peek had the grass inside the igloo, but in the paper the grass is outside and they say, “backyard.” It would be really cool if they did have the backyard go outside, so you can have another part of you igloo.
In Focus – Beach and Dock
  • Rockhopper always docks at the Beach when he comes to town
  • The Beach is home to the Lighthouse and Rockhopper’s ship – the Migrator, when it’s not at sea
  • Hydro-Hopper is one of the oldest games in Club Penguin. It is located at the Dock
Ask Aunt Arctic
 – Do you make up your questions?
No, I (Aunt Arctic) definitely do not make up the questions. All of the poems, jokes, riddles, and artwork are from you guys.
 – What is going on, I come on the first time and the forest is upside down, now it isn’t?
What happened was when you came on, it was during the April Fool’s Party. When we do this, everything is crazy.
Tips and Secrets – Finding Pins
  • Click your ma to go to certain places such as the Coffee Shop
  • Search upstairs on rooms also
  • Remember to make a search party with your friends

An Unusual Afternoon
  • It is another story type game where you pick words to make a story
  • The words are in a Mancala board
  • This is mine:
One day I was feeling stressed, so I wandered over to the Stage. There I saw a penguin wearing a parrot on his head. When I asked why, he said, “The only thing riskier than a parrot on your head is a jet pack on your beak.” Not really knowing what that meant, I left and invited Rockhopper to a game of Mancala. What an unusual afternoon.
Upcoming Events
  • April 18: New furniture catalog, new Igloo design, new postcards
  • April 25: Rockhopper and Yarr’s Arrival Party, new pin hidden, new sports catalog

New Play, Rockhopper’s Journal, and the New Pin

The new stage came out today, and it is one of the best ever. The title is “Quest for the Golden Puffle.” The setup is exactly like the Indiana Jones’ movies (picture below). The play is about an explorer and his friends, who are also explorers, searching for a golden puffle. They run into many problems, until they finally get the golden puffle. At that time they meet a mummy. The mummy wants the golden puffle, and he keeps saying, “TUMMY!” King Ra-Ra says give him up. What the explorers don’t know is that the golden puffle is actually a chocolate puffle. They find that fact out and give it to the mummy, who then says, “YUMMY!” When you act out this play you first go up one side and snowball’s start throwing at you. Then, before you cross a bridge, it breaks. Now you have to use another bridge. Then you try to get the golden puffle. When you go up the stairs, you’ll notice a huge boulder going across the background. Then a couple seconds later, the boulder goes across the stage, so watch out! A video of what I explained is showing below. The costumes are also really cool. These are what they are:
  • Alaska’s Explorer Hat
  • Lasso
  • Sienna Explorer Outfit
  • Beige Explorer Outfit
  • Safari Hat (Was given out as a gift from Rockhopper on his first ever visit)
  • Supply Bag
  • Pharaoh Costume
  • Crook and Flail
  • Gold Bracelets
  • Pharaoh Headdress (Has a puffle on the top of it)
  • Mummy Costume
  • Adventure Costume (Non-members can purchase this)
This is definitely the best play yet.

Rockhopper’s Journal has been added to the book shelf in the Book Room. After the iceberg struck the Migrator, the journal was lost. However, during numerous searches, rescuers were able to find the journal. There is new writing in this one, about how Rockhopper and Yarr celebrated Christmas, and how Rockhopper spotted the iceberg. He was upset about not finding any treasure, when Yarr pointed the iceberg out to him. Rockhopper took a picture of the iceberg. You can read this by clicking Rockhopper’s Journal at my sidebar under the Catalogs/Books category.

The new pin came out today also. The new pin is a pyramid and it is at the Book Room, on the table in the bottom left corner.
